A bushy tree native to Australia with long branches and twigs, small narrow leaves and white cotton-puff flowers. Its leaves and branches are steam distilled for essential oils.
Used in first aid kits during the Second World War. Its medicinal properties which include antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, decongestant, immunostimulant. It is good in treating bacterial skin infections, pimples, lice, athlete’s foot, warts, sinusitis, respiratory issues.
Blends Well With:
Blends well with bergamot, black pepper, camomiles, elemi, eucalyptus, lemom, geranium, manuka, orange, palmarosa, peppermint, ravensara, rosemary, tangerine.
May cause skin irritations and dryness. Always conduct a skin patch test and seek advise of your medical doctor prior to use.
