Calamondin aka Calamansi is native to the Philippines. It is a small tree with white flowers and small round green fruit that turns yellow-green when over-ripe. Its peel is very thin. It is widely used in Asian cuisine and is also known to prevent several ailments and aids the body in boosting its immune system.
A rich source of Vitamin C. It helps relieve cough and colds, prevents tooth decay, cavities, bleeding gums. Its also good in alkalinizing the body and treats peptic ulcers (juice of calamansi). It is widely used as an uplifting essential oil. anti-aging, anti cellulite and fat-burning and is good in removing foul odor.
Blends Well With:
Blends well with other citrus oils such as lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, tangerine. It also blends well with black pepper, cedarwood, frankincense, bergamot, ginger, lemongrass (tanglad), elemi, dalandan.
Photosensitizing and must not be applied to skin prior to sun exposure. Always dilute properly and use with the advice of your health physician/medical doctor.>
